Eau Claire History
University Park, Located at 600 Main Street by The Current School District Administration Building. The Land Was Donated By The Shaker Family With A Stipulation That It must Only Be Used As A Leisure Park Area.
The Original Eau Claire Senior High School Located On 400 West Grand Avenue (Currently an Apartment Complex). It Was The Senior High Until 1925 ,When a New School Was Built at 500 Main Street (The Current District Administration Building) This Building Was Then Used as a Junior High until Memorial High Opened.
This Is The 300 Block of East Grand Avenue. The Ingram Block Building Was Located Where The Current Ramada Convention Center Resides. I Wonder If Ed's Barbershop Was Still Located Across The Street.
The Eau Claire County Asylum. It was Located Up On the Hill Behind The Current Dove Health Care Center West.
The Eau Claire Club (The Elks Club) Located Where The Current Bank Mutual Building is Located On East Grand Avenue. The Old Badger Theatre Was Located Next to It, To The Right On This Picture.
Kaisers China Shop Located On the Southwest Corner of South Barstow and Gibson Street. The Building Was Destroyed By Fire.
The Eau Claire County Court House. It was Located Where The Current Law Enforcement Center and Juvenile Detention Center is on West Grand Avenue.
This is the Ingram Block Building after a Two Story Addition was added and House the Original Midelfart Later Change To Midelfort Clinic.
